According to this LifeSite News article, the Pope said in a meeting behind closed doors with the Italian Episcopal Conference, said that there is too much of an atmosphere of faggotry (he used the equivalent Italian pejorative) in the Church and that bishops must "get all the queers out of the seminaries, even those only semi-oriented."

Well, he's not wrong.

But that's not the interesting point here. The interesting point is that Francis, not realizing that he would be tattled on by one of the bishops in the meeting, has momentarily dropped his mask. While he keeps publicly claiming "room for everyone," and while he clearly wants the political (by which I mean monetary) support of the LGBTQPZ+ crowd, when it comes down to it, Pope Francis is like every other normal man: He's disgusted by homos and doesn't want them anywhere near him. He wants them in the pews so that they'll send money his way, but he doesn't want in the hierarchy where he has to interact with them.

This actually further supports my thesis regarding Fiducia Supplicans, which I've developed in a previous post. My thesis holds that the so-called "blessing" offered in Fiducia Supplicans is, in fact, not a blessing at all and is carefully developed in that document to place the priest outside of his clerical role when giving such a "blessing." The whole thing is a ruse being propagated by Pope Francis on the LGBTQPZ+ community.

But now I see another motive behind Fiducia Supplicans: The document, while withholding anything substantive from the queers who want to pretend they're married, does so with such subtlety that many of them will feel like they can get married with the Church' blessing. By crafting the document this way, the pope has offered those who want to be "gay in the Church" an alternate path so that they won't be as inclined to enter the seminaries.

Don't get me wrong: While Pope Francis is completely on target in saying that there's too much faggotry in the Church, it's clear that his concern in saying this is his own dislike for the atmosphere rather than any concern for the salvation of souls or the worthy worship of and union with Christ.
